After decades of downloading opus and mp3 (2005 was 20 years ago btw), I've decided to start downloading flacs. For years I was one of those "it doesn't sound that different" guys. Not saying I'm a flac truther or anything, but you can sometimes hear the difference, especially the louder you start playing stuff. And I've been doing that a lot.
My new H2 Walker (I use Rockbox btw) doesn't have all of the pussy hearing protection stuff that modern phones have. You can actually damage your ears (based) just like the in 00s intended. Idk something about having a new pair of Koss and a modern(ish) mp3 player makes ya want to download a quality tunes in a quality format. Check out the stuff below the tree to make your own. I'm planning on doing this with DS and PSP homebrew too.

I used tre, but you could technically use a bunch of other file tree generators, including the original tree on Winblows (tho, the original tree can be buggy, hence the random github projects).
Tree Programs you can use
- tre
- erdtree
- treex
- the OG tree (already installed on Windows)
Get a package manager:
- Windows: Scoop (like winget or Chocolatey but better)
- Mac: Homebrew
- Linux: IDK MY BFF JILL? (most distros' repos will have at least one of these packages, plus there's user repos like the AUR)
Windows commands after installing Scoop
scoop bucket add extras
scoop update
scoop install vcredist2022
scoop install treex

Mac commands after installing Homebrew
brew install tre
brew install erdtree
sry no treex in homebrew, you'd have to install it manually

WHY LIST SO MANY PROGRAMS THAT DO THE SAME JOB?
Unmaintained software eventually fucks up. It's good to have alternatives. All of these work great now (with the exception of the original tree sometimes), but a decade from now you might find yourself seeking an alternative. Everyone remembers when Neofetch got archived, right? lol I can't be the only one who refers to Fastfetch (great alternative btw) as Neofetch. Point is, don't be afraid to hunt down different, newer projects to replace your old tools... except prolly the GNU Coreutils. Those are going to work the same until the heat death of the universe. Same for BusyBox stuff.
