I love you NewPipe but damn it
I love using NewPipe... except for that thing it does a few times a year where it just stops working for several days. And it's one of those days today. Shit. I know it's not their fault, and it usually gets resolved within a week or so. It's a pain, though. The amount of bullshit that you have to go through to have a privacy respecting YouTube front end that saves your sub and watch history locally is dumb. You can't even watch mature content on it anymore because Google requires accounts for it, even outside of YouTube - which makes archiving videos* with yt-dlp that much more of a pain. I wish Odysee wasn't shit (or "crypto" scammy) and Peertube instances didn't cost creators money to host. Can't Google stop fucking with shit so NewPipe doesn't suck?
