Bear: Just Notes on a Wall

I'm really big on checking Bear's Discovery page. Discovery | Recents is my new scroooolling (read sku-rule-ing). It's a lot like imageboards. People say stuff and others interact in a limited but meaningful way. You can choose to add you contact info like an email or a 'cord link. You can also add comments or guestbooks to your blog through 3rd party services - all great stuff. But you can also just not add any of that. You can be a void. As sad as it is reading some of the sadder posts on Bear and not being able to be like "You are loved and valued" to someone who really needs it, you also have to assume that some users wouldn't post anything at all if it weren't for the opt in contact part of Bear. I've run into this on imageboards, people going through stuff where you can only read their pain. And that's ok. You can be the equivalent of sticky notes on a public bulletin board.

Also, sorry to double post. I'm still in a waiting room reading blogs. I don't think anyone has me on their RSS or Atom, but if they did this would be annoying.

It's still stuck in my head.
