The Saddest Place on the Internet
The comment sections of songs from the 1970s and 1980s are public obituaries. It's both super sad and beautiful to watch people publicly grieve and be consoled by strangers. I can't imagine how raw must people feel listening to music like this again for the first time. The memories of loved ones overflow as raw emotions, spilling out into memorial posts. I'm sure if my dad could see all of the posts my mom has made about him, he'd be appreciative.
